The slaughter of animals should be done carefully and as stress-free as possible. With respect for the animals. Wouters BV works with skilled and SVO-certified employees. Every employee that comes into contact with living animals has an animal welfare certificate.

 

By continuously monitoring the anaesthetic process, undesirable situations are prevented.

 

Inspection assistants and veterinary surgeons of the Dutch Food and Wares Authority (NVWA, Nederlandse Voedsel en Waren Autoriteit) and the Quality Inspection of the Animal Industry (KDS Kwaliteitskeuring Dierlijke Sector) oversee this process and inspect every animal first alive and then slaughtered.
